cnc help question

i am buying a cnc machine soon, i have a 3 d printer now and printing via cura 15.xxx version, will frecad version 16 or version 17 out put the correct file format that a cnc machine needs? if so what format do i I use or do i need to use a g gode conveter program to send my drawings to a cnc machine for printing?

FreeCAD's Path workbench is for building tool paths for CNC machines. Check out that part of the forum for more details or check out the videos linked on my youtube channel (in my signature).

Gcode has many dialects but most CNC machines use a variant similar to LinuxCNC. If your machine requires something special, we can help customize a post processor for it.
