I often close Start Page.
But sometimes it appears again after some operations... why?

Why are you using the AppImage on Linux Mint? Mint being based on Ubuntu, you can use the freecad-daily PPA which automatically updates. The AppImage is intended for Linux systems not based on Ubuntu.

According to your screenshots, the AppImage uses the native file dialog, which is problematic when it happens to be GTK-based. This is well-known.

The freecad-stable and freecad-daily PPAs both use the Qt file dialog which does not have this issue.

I wanted to try it at first :)

Oh, I did not know it :(

This problem was solved with installing 0.18 from PPA.
Thanks a lot!

Have you been using the Assembly3 module? It requires a fork of FreeCAD with massive changes to its source code. It may create files that are not compatible with the original FreeCAD.
