Line transparency intractably disabled. No RADEON on board.

0.16 [no revision number] 2017/11/16 20:04:45; Debian GNU/Linux 9.4 (stretch)

NVIDIA NVS 4200M; 345.20; Direct 3D 11

Flat Lines, Wireframes, or Points.

Line transparency is unchangeably disabled under all of that.

Direct3D is irrelevant; FreeCAD relies on OpenGL.

I just realized your question: line transparency is not supported. This is not a bug.

Thanks. So no Direct 3D support I guess. That's cool. I wonder if OpenGL drivers can be set up for this video.

Wait, line transparency is not supported. FreeCAD does not support line transparency.

Those outputs in Call for screenshots that have no lines are using external rendering?

Change the Draw Style (in Standard-View Toolbar) to "Shaded" and the lines will disappear.

No external add-ons or other magic needed.

As Gene replied, those use the shaded draw style, which removes the edges completely. What I meant is that you cannot set a partial transparency to edges.

Thank you both.

"Draw Style (in Standard-View Toolbar)"? Lost. I can't find that.
