Draft Scale isn't working right for me

Post by a3bksll47 »

When I Modify original with Uniform scaling, the end result is not reduced in scale but is simply moved forward.

Create a copy with Uniform scaling will, however, complete a reduction in scale, albeit a copy that is unmodifiable henceforth.

Separate question: The scale factor fields only allow one place to the right of the decimal to be changed from 0. If I want to reduce to 0.375 rather than to 0.3, I'm out of luck.

Thanks for any help.

Hi!
Set higher number of decimals in preferences (Edit->Preferences->General->Units tab). You can also bind an expression to the property, this way the value will not round itself to 0.3, even though it may be displayed this way.

Please give a step-by-step instruction for dummies. I have used Draft Scale (Draft Clone rather) numerous times, and never had issues.
