Make a leave

I would like to make a leave, like this:

But it should hang and have a bend from a stem.

So basically I have no idea how to do this, any ideas? Making a plane leave isn't too hard, but the bending part....

see curves wb, nurbs wb
there are methods to get the surface
then you can cut the border using facedraw or Part Boolean
