Robot trajector doesn't match part

Post by ztirffritz »

I'm trying to learn how to use the Robot workbench. I created a trajectory by following a path around the part that I created. The trajectory appears to be shifted off of the part so that it is actually inside the robot. The result is comical, but not functional. I rotated the part about the X axis and moved it along the x+ and above the x-y plane and the z+ direction to improve the access for the robot and improve future fixturing options in a manufacturing environment. I'm sure that there are many mistakes in how the part is created and how I'm trying to use the robot, but if anyone can help me to get the trajectory sorted I'd appreciate it. My best guess is that I successfully rotated and moved the part, but the path appears to be following its original location and orientation. The file is attached.
