Problem with export from FreeCAD

Post by michal.malecki »

Hi
I use FreeCAD 0.17 on Linux
I've created a simple part - an empty cylinder with a base. When I export this (I want to import in Slic3r) the cylinder is almost filled. May I ask for help? I attached an original and an exported part.

Michal

If you selected only the last feature(PartDesign WB)/last operation (Part WB) and get this result, then upload your model.

Thank you very much for a suggestion. I exported from "Part" not from "Part Design". If I switch to "Part Design" and export everything is ok :)

It's not the Workbench from which you export, it's the selection in the tree, and how you built the model.

For PartDesign models I always export the Body and I select nothing else.
