Hello everyone,
I am redoing an old design and also using datum planes this time to make the file more compact and also the building process easier. I run into a weird problem however with a shape I am trying to create on the datum plane. I have sketched (Sketch006) a circle that I want to pad to a 0.5 mm high cylinder. It does not make any contact with any other object yet I keep getting the Multiple objects warning and I have run out of ideas on what else to try and can't seem to find an answer on the forum either. Can someone tell me what I did wrong? Thanks in advance!

Re: Datum planes and multiple solids
The fact the new solid does not make contact with the rest of the body is actually the problem.
Re: Datum planes and multiple solids
Ah okay then. Is there a way I can get around that or should I go about it another way?
Re: Datum planes and multiple solids
Should the pad from Sketch006 be a separate body? Each Body should be a single solid. You are trying to create a separate cylinder in to the same body so that is why you get that error.
Create new body, then the Sketch under it, pad it,...

Re: Datum planes and multiple solids
That seems to work. Thank you!
