One of the tangents is doubled. Remove either Constraint12 or 14.

I was a bit wrong in my previous post, you have to remove Constraint12. The other tangency, Constraint14 is a line-line tangency, which does not imply coincidence.

Here is how the Sketch should look like:

As ChrisB already mentioned in the first post - your sketch is hidden:
SketchHidden.PNG
Toggling visibility by either selecting it from the tree and pressing "space" or LMB over it/Toggle visibility will show it:
SketchVisible.PNG
Notice the black color of the name when visible and gray when hidden.

Also your sketch is overconstrained:
Overconstrained.PNG
Since centers of are not constrained "coincident" they only appear to be on top of each other but do not depend from each other. Here is one of the proper constraining variations:
Constrained.PNG
Thank you for your reply.

After several more attempts, I am now able to see the part in Part Design, as per your SketchVisible.PNG attachment. Thank you.

However, I am not seeing the Solver message as per your Overconstrained.PNG attachment.

Attached is a copy of what I am seeing. It appears that I may have no way of knowing where I might be over constrained with my version of FreeCAD.

The solver messages showing redundant constraints are not available before version 0.18.

Thanks.

After some sleep, I'm going to look into downloading version 0.18.

Thanks again.

OS: Windows 10
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.17.13528 (Git)
That version is outdated, the latest bug fix release is 0.17.13541 published last August. On the other hand, it's not worth downloading if you're going to download a 0.18_pre version (highly recommended, download link here); we are nearing 0.18 release, and more or less in polishing mode at this time. The current 0.18_pre is already pretty stable, and not far from a "release candidate" status without the name.

I downloaded and installed the 0.18 release. And, I got a big surprise!

I opened a previous, much more complex, version of my test sketch with no problems whatsoever! Now, I have no doubt that the previous sketch is over constrained in multiple places, but it does not appear to matter in the 0.18 version.

Views of the previous sketch and part are attached.

Now, on to the next segment of the FreeCAD Learning Curve!

Thanks again to everyone for the help.
