I'm familiarizing myself with doors and windows and comparing the behavior of Windows-7 versus Ubuntu 18.04.2 versions of FreeCad.
I run into a situation where Ubuntu-FreeCad is creating upside down doors.
I performed the following sequence of events.
On windows-7, I created a model having a single wall.
I inserted a "Simple Door", and used the "door" editor to indicate it was hinged and open.
I saved the file to my Dropbox account then I rebooted my workstation with Ubuntu.
I then opened the model file I created. The door that I created was displayed correctly and I modified the "opening" property of the door to see if the angle of the door opening would change. It did so satisfactorily.
I then tried to add another door to the wall. I selected the "simple door" present and did not change anything else. When I clicked the left button to drop the Door, it did so but the door was upside down.
I then created a new model under Ubuntu and created a wall, and then created a simple door and this time the door was oriented correctly.
So, what did I do wrong?
The model, Windows-FreeCad version data and Ubuntu-FreeCad version data are attached as files.
