Freecad toggles visibility automatically when editing, how to stop that?

Hello,

Freeacd automatically toggles the visibility, by I have no idea how to stop that. Can someone help me please?

I have no idea why that Bug is present, it makes you toggle the visibility again and again,... but why? Nothing should toggle the visibility automatically?

Can you please elaborate what exactly is happening. It is normal that FreeCAD hides the sub-objects of a new operation or the last but one feature.

Please explain what you are talking about. An exact step by step method to reproduce, attach a demonstration file if appropriate.

You have not told us what you are referring to. In PartDesign, if you edit a sketch the solid is automatically hidden so that you can see the sketch and the sketch is automatically un-hidden so that you can see the sketch. That was a requested feature, it was added, from memory, during the 0.18 development cycle. If you wanted to have an input then follow the dev snapshot releases and help with development testing. You can run those along side a Release version of FreeCAD. If it is this to which you are referring, then load Sketcher WB then go to Edit menu....settings...sketcher...General tab about halfway down there are several visibility automation settings.

I've seen this, I presume it's well known. I attached a file, if you open the last sketch and close it the model disappears.

If your settings are as mine then you should have no problems. After you have edited the sketch, then visibility is automatically reset.

post your FreeCAD version data so we know what you are talking about.

I tried your file and I see what you mean. It is the first time I have seen this. Files I created did not do that on my system, but your file does.

Hello,

I use the BIM workbench,I created some walls based on Draft-Faces,... then I toggled the visibility to just see the Draft-Rectangles, I move one and after I moved it toggles all the visibility to on.

Why is it toggling visibility at all?

I have all selected in Visibility, that doesn't fix it here. I have seen this issue for over a year, I just toggle and move on.

Your file does not work for me but mine does. You should have reported this a year ago then. This is the sort of thing that could have been looked into before we made the nest release, now the bug is in 0.18.

Since your file miss behaves in my FreeCAD and yet my file created here does not, for some reason there must be something different in the files.
