I am a novice FreeCAD user and have also had some struggles learning how to use the programme. I feel as though I am getting there now thanks to help from people on this board and some excellent tutorials on YouTube.

As far as FreeCAD capability is concerned I found this video absolutely amazing. https://youtu.be/NynInva3j4Q

The other thing I have found that saves me time is to draw my parts with dimensions by hand with pencil and paper before opening the sketch work bench.

HI,
look at my videos.. according to the visitors comments, they seem to be good ...

And be sure.. before you you get into creating a "machine" or the like, there will be a long path to travel...
