Points WB - - - How to use Polygon cut ?

Hi, trying importing point cloud by Points WB.

By description in Wiki - Polygon cut: cuts a point cloud with a picked polygon - I thought the polygon 'select' whatever is inside the polygon.

However, there is nothing clicking the button.

Wondering what exactly this command do, the correct procedures to use it, or what else is it exactly? Also wonder how a 2d polygon 'cut' a 3d points group?

I can confirm that it doesn't work any more as it should. Btw, in the Mesh wb you will find a similar command and there it still works.

Whilst I am trying to figure how to use the Mesh WEB, do you mind have a look at Points WB possible bug?
