External geometry no longer aligned in a sketch

Post by r500dwp »

I've been having a problem with my external geometry today where some sketches are losing alignment, is this something I can correct in my file?

All my sketches are fully constrained.

You are probably facing a Topological Naming issue. If you make changes to earlier sketches, then the numbering of the edges, faces, and vertices can change which changes the referenced items.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

Would be nice for others to tell how you fixed it, or I guess I think so.

Sorry, I thought it was an obvious fix after searching the wiki.

I followed this guide: https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Topolog ... ng_problem
