Post by stonefox »

I have a *FCStd fil in FreeCAD I have to save and import to Inventor 2019, but I have problems to open them in Inventor.

Please write, how I handle the model in FreeCAD and Save/Export it

And how I open it in Inventor ? My plan is the change diffrent stuff in the fil, and then after send it to my 3D Printer

Please send me a guide with details

You can't directly open a FC file in Inventor. You have to export your model to STEP or IGES so it can be exchanged between both software. ;)
But why don't you modify directly in FC ???

I do not think you can import an FCstd file in Inventor.
You can export an Fcstd file to an Inventor v2.1 format.
I do not have Inventor so I can not check or it works well

Inventor is a proprietery software... You should (only) ask the inventor people how to import the open source FreeCAD file ;)
