Hi,
I just noticed that if you try to loft (using the Part:Loft menu), the application will not recognize the circle if it has the default angles (firstAngle=0, lastAngle=0). It will only pick it up (put it in the list of the task panel) if the angles are firstAngle=0, lastAngle different than 0 (default for closed circle). Is there a reason for this behavior?
I am using FreeCAD 0.13-1828
Thanks

Re: Lofting from a Circle (filled
You should have mentioned that you are using a Draft circle.
So, you can either downgrade the filled circle (but then you will loose the parametric behaviour) or you can create a circle using the Part workbench.
Yes, there is. In Draft all closed objects are in fact faces and not edges. By default these objects are rendered in Wireframe mode only and that's why it confuses people sometimes. So, if you switch to "Flat lines" mode you'll see that the circle in fact is a disc. And since it is a face it won't appear in the loft panel. Is there a reason for this behavior?

Yes, it was a draft circle. I now understand also why it is set in such a way. Thank you very much.
