Can FreeCAD Draft workbench do this trim feature similar to AutoCAD?
I am trying to trim 2 circles into what is on the right.
But the trimux in draft workbench can only give me this.
Are there trim function that can do this properly? Are there feature request on this?
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
Can you attach your freecad version info?
I also can't see the two pictures you posted.

A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

In sketcher there is a trim tool. This is easy.

Thanks for recommendation, what I am trying to do right now is draw chemical engineer PID (Piping and instrumentation diagram).
Similar to this (from wikipedia)
I have read and watch some freecad tutorial, but there are some feature I need that I'm not sure I can do it easily on FreeCAD.
Draft workbench is probably fit for this purpose due to its simplicity and snap to midpoint, edge, endpoint, grid, etc. function.
but at the same time...
Drawing PID need basic editing features, but a more complex trim function (like on sketch) is needed to draw equipment.
But Sketch use constraints instead of snaps (that I understand), which while more accurate, drawing PID don't need this accuracy and would slowdown drawing it.
That is why I'm looking for trim in Draft WB that is similar to Sketch WB.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I found recent thread talking about this https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25073
Seems like there are no good workflow for PID yet.

Re: Can FreeCAD Draft workbench do this trim feature similar to AutoCAD?
There was a topic that sized the pick window for snapping to contraints. If the size box is made large then making constraints is just like snapping. Maybe someone knows that posting?
Re: Can FreeCAD Draft workbench do this trim feature similar to AutoCAD?
1. Create a PID workbench for FreeCAD (just kidding)
2. Use a dedicated tool, maybe https://www.edrawsoft.com/linuxdiagram/ ... -linux.php NOT opensource
I'm sure that the result can be achieved in FreeCAD, but a dedicated tool might provide a friendlier workflow.

@Jonathan, are you sure it's cool to post that drawing? A drawing like that should be drawn on a 2D type package. Once your ready to design the parts then you come to FreeCAD where you can make a 3D model with dimensions.
