Hi to all,
is it possible to create text annotations in a Sketch? My drawings are getting complicated and deserve some text here and there in addition to pure datum values…
The TechDraw workbench could be tool of choice to create multiple pages from a single sketch to illustrate various aspects, but I could find a way to create a page from a sketch directly, only from a 3D object. Unfortunately, there are no 3D objects created from my "skeleton sketches", which are only used to construct and calculate some geometry values, and I don't want to create a Pad from these sketches solely for that purpose.
So, is there a trick with the TechDraw workbench? Thanks in advance!

Re: Sketch Annotations
Hi,
If you don't need that the text is visually displayed in the sketch, you can add a custom property of type PropertyStringList to the sketch and store your annotations there.

Re: Sketch Annotations
Thanks for the idea! that would be great for commenting the purpose of an entire sketch. Certainly useful! But I was was indeed looking for a means to create visual text in the drawing.
