How to keep objects visible for easy snap?

Trying FreeCAD first time. Trying to use wire tool by using snap but don’t know how to keep objects visible. Thanks for the help.

You toggle visibility by selecting them in the tree and hitting the space bar.

The spacebar option did not work in my case.

When I select the tree, all objects are visible.

But pressing spacebar while tree is selected hides the objects and grey out the tree.

You may consider not selecting all elements in the tree for toggling visibility.

I'm certainly missing something. I just wan to view the objects while trying to snap for wire tool. I'm using 0.18 on iMac Os High Sierra.

Is it possible that you have black lines? They are hardly visible on a black screen. Please try a different background color. If that's not the reason of your issues, you can of course reset it.
