Sketching on curved surface

Post by Dqwrq07 »

I'm trying to make a sliotar(a ball for an Irish game) but it requires a bump in a pattern similar to baseballs and tennis balls. I already have guide points but I don't know how to make a curved spline or how to sketch it on a curved surface.

according this website: https://www.mathcurve.com/courbes3d.gb/ ... ture.shtml
and the macro: https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Macro_3 ... tric_Curve
you can make a 3D curve, by adjusting a or b. ;)
