I am trying to work through the draft tutorial document on the wiki
Under Arrays item number 4 I think the "number pole" data item should be 4?
Nothing seems to happen and I wonder if there is a step 5 which I am missing out on.
I seem to get the array in the tree but it has a yellow background and I cant find what
that is trying to tell me.
I redid the exercise but still no result.
What am I forgetting here?
If the 4 items is correct in the draft tutorial will someone fix it because I am too new to
this environment to dare and try and do that.

Re: cant get the draft tutorial to work
I have corrected the wiki tutorial, the only thing you need to do to create the array is to confirm 4 as the number polar by hitting enter or clicking in the 3D view.

Re: cant get the draft tutorial to work
I have stopped trying to do the draft tutorial and started a new drawing.
I am using Freecad 0.18.4 ( I Think )
I have set my grid to 10mm squares and drew a line from 0,0,0 to 200,100,0 (xy plane and top view.
The line appear sto be made up of 4 very close copies and am at a loss to explain that.
The array command did not work when I tried to make 5 copies around a 360 arc
The array is in yellow on the tree and that still make sno sense to me.
Thanks for updating the wiki though.

Please upload your file for perusal.
Re: cant get the draft tutorial to work
OK I will figure out how to do that.
I did see someone else do an attachment but I have not found that option yet.

Re: cant get the draft tutorial to work
Thanks for that.
I still do not quite get how to put a screenshot onto a reply.
I have tried using printscreen and copy to clipboard but I keep
getting wring file format errors.
I am using Linux 18.3
I did read the pink box and how to add attachments but I am missing something here.
It must be easy because everyone else can do it!

Re: cant get the draft tutorial to work
From the 'file' tool bar select 'help' then 'about FreeCad'...
A pop up will appear, press the copy to clipboard button.
In the text input area of your forum reply, right mouse button click and paste. (FC info is now in your reply)
Select the Attachments tab and press Add files, you can now navigate to the file you wish to upload...
