Imperial Spreadsheet Units?

Post by pghpete »

I have already set my default units to imperial, however I cannot seem to find a way to set the spreadsheet values to default or use imperial. Am I overlooking something?

Thanks. However, exploring this further I don't believe it should be in the help section. It's more of a feature request since the spreadsheets currently do not work using imperial measurements. Well, it works entering them but then converts and displays them into metric which is very hard to work off of.

You can change the display units: right click the cell and select "Properties...", then choose the Display units tab and enter e.g 'in' as a unit for length.

This would make a good extension to the Macro Alias Manager.

I also have my User System Unit settings set to Imperial decimal (I have also tried imperial customary).
save the file.
changed the spreadsheet cell properties to either " or "in" without quotes for "in"

Whenever I enter a number it converts. I watched some great tutorials. This should work.
