That would have to be discussed with the developers. But it's been that way since the beginning of FreeCAD, I'm not sure they'll be willing to change it.

Thanks. I'll post it in Mantis BT.

Do you think it would be a big deal to have the numerical sequence, 0-6, match the positional sequence of the associated icons in the toolbar? That would be so much more intuitive. Or has that been brought up before?
Sorry, but this isn't possible because these shortcuts are already used by the standard view commands.

As was noted in MantisBT #1189, re-arranging the icons would work. Too bad "customize" doesn't work. Any idea when that function may be operational?

Ah, now I see what you mean. First, I thought you wanted to use these shortcuts for the sketcher commands. OK, that's easy to fix.

I have observed the same error on FreeCad 0.13 on Windows 7. The attached file should reproduce the error every time, when you try to trim the circle to the adjoining square, see the screenshot how the trim should be made. After clicking on the segment the program hangs, no excessive processor usage or similar.

Can you be a bit more verbose of what steps I have to run to make FreeCAD hanging, please?

Have you possibly uploaded the wrong file? The sketch in this file already had the circle trimmed to the square.

Hello,

I've encountered the same issue recently, but the OS is Win7 x64, not XP. I've attached the sketch causing the issue. The hang occurs when I try to trim the horizontal edge right under the arc on the left (it might do the same with the right one though).

I've re-drawn the same shape with a different grid/snap setting (1mm instead of 0.5mm) and the trim works in that case. The hang seems to happen only when the arcs have a radius of 1.5mm

Hope this helps,
Thanks.

HangTest took over 18 minutes with one core maxed out at 100% and the other 60 - 70% usage! I did have other processes running but nothing CPU intensive.
