… you inspired me to model my longest sailed (as a crew) boat type.
Workflow the same as your model by diffuse plans and a picture.
The printer model is a simple scaled clone of the "hardwork" FC file.

A racing sailor ! I never understood why the Star was dropped as an Olympic class. There is no comparable Olympic boat now.

They make nice gifts, So if your skipper isn't a tyrant, he'd probably be pleased with one. I just made up a Sabre 362 for a cruising companion. I think he wants 2 - one for his home, and one for the boat!

I like how you did the flat section of the keel.

I mounted mine on a piece of mahogany I had. I originally worried about handling the very thin sections of the keel and rudder/skeg. Eventually I made a tracing of the entire profile of the boat and made a 4mm extrusion of the profile that I fused to the half hull. Made handling the piece easy, and provided the ability to fair out some of the printed sections with sandpaper.
