Ok, maybe I messed that up:
Which version of FreeCAD we are talking about?

As for the SoS: Method2 works for my while Method1 won't.

As for you direct above: I won't get any support property in both Methods

It might help you find a faster solution if you upload your file.

You need to update the Curves Workbench

Damn it. I think I got my mistake (at least the test object now is working).

In the Howto from Chris_G:
"1. Attach the sketch to the target face."
I misunderstood that as "a step to do", but as I understand it now, it's more a hint, how to achieve the connection between sketch and surface, if the sketch exists prior to the surface it should be attached to...
(So the first step really to actually DO in freeCAD is point 2 in a way.)

EDIT: Update the Curves workbench. Appologies:
"Did a rework" (-> on the workbench, not only at the tutorial)

"I'll be back"

OK, stupid old man (me) finally got it.
Thanks for all the patience and help.

From the sketch I want to use I still get nothing, but I guess there might be one spline, which is not closed, which to my tests makes the script generate nothing at all.

Here is the macro in text form that you can copy/paste:
....
Does quite the same like the copy from the git.

Sadly not. Using Debian Linux here.
all locales are set to en_US.UTF-8 except "LC_ALL"which was empty. But even setting it to en_US.UTF-8 as well, won't work.
EDIT:
I think, it's the macro editor itself, so I'll start an extra thread for that. Do I do that in the development part of the forum?
