Issues with Pocket Lines? (Solved)
Hello everyone,
I'm new to FreeCAD and CAD's(?) in general. I work for a Start-up and have been tasked with teaching myself the ins and outs to run our CNC so my inexperience is significant. With that in mind, please bare with me and especially my terminology.
Now the issue, I've been trying to familiarize myself with Pathing(?) and I've hit a bit of a roadblock. I was following this tutorial https://youtu.be/MWFC17MIfOE?t=145 and when I got to this point what I had was different than the tutorial in one important way: the corner lines in my pocket are nonexistent I've tried twice now to the same result. I can't very well Fillet an edge that doesn't exist so I find myself at a roadblock. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You!

Re: Issues with Pocket Lines?
Hi, welcome to the forum.
Could you attach your file to the post? It makes it much easier if we can look at what you've done.
Also, at the top of the forum there is a pink bar. Check out that link, especially the part about how to get the Help about and add it to your post.

Re: Issues with Pocket Lines?
I was able to select those edges without problem.
To make it easier for selection change the draw-style to wireframe.

That did it! Thank you so much. I had a feeling it would be something simple I hadn't considered... I hate those.Bance wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 2:22 pm I was able to select those edges without problem.

The edges should be available in normal view as well. This looks like a graphics driver issue. Check for updates, and have a look at the Known OS specific issues.
Please retry with the latest 0.19 and if it still fails, report back and attach your full FreeCAD info as described in the IMPORTANT forum rules linked above.

I recently experience this inability to select internal edges. Not sure if it was Ok before. Probably now I took note ?!?

Re: Issues with Pocket Lines? (Solved)
I checked that file now. All internal edges highlight as expected and can be selected. But i same FreeCAD instance I have another file open and there depending on the view direction some internal edges can not be selected. But sometimes changing the view direction slightly enables the selection. Might be some z-fighting. I also tried with integrated graphics - might be graphic cards dependent - but did not find any difference - same things happen with both graphic cards.
