Firstly, paste you Help about FreeCAD data.

Secondly what have you imported? What format...how many components is it or is it one? If its multi components adjust them individually or use the tool for...............which version of FreeCAD do you have?

Hi André

Maybe I misunderstood what it is you want to do.

First, select the objects you want to rotate and move.
On the data tab, click the placement button [...]

Select "Apply incremental changes to object placement"

All values are now zero. Perform your placement.

Then click on [Apply]

My FreeCAD
OS: Debian GNU/Linux 7.2 (wheezy)
Platform: 64-bit
Version: 0.13.
Python version: 2.7.3
Qt version: 4.8.2
Coin version: 3.1.3
SoQt version: 1.5.0
OCC version: 6.5.2
sorry for my outrageous English, but I have a bad excuse

You say that you have imported a project, what exactly do you mean? Are these imported step files? or did you model them in FreeCAD and if so are they simple copies?

If they are modelled from sketches then you have to change the position values of the first sketches only.

Can you post a file and clear instructions that demonstrates what you a asking?

It seemed to work properly on Part objects in 0.13 ...I just tried it.

This is off topic, but forum member cblt2l builds wheezy packages based on the development branch of FreeCAD (which will become v0.14). You might be interested, as it offers a few new features. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2995
