Though this tutorial is in 0.18, it has the basics:

And the FreeeCAD wiki:

Hi
in partWb only , do a large cube (Extrude) , do a Commun , clone it and move it (red)
do a cut (limiter / commun)
do 2 STL
Remarque : maybe you have to do more than one cut because you have several parts whithout supported roof

I made it in Part Design WB (additive Box). Is it ok?
do a Commun
I made it in Part WB and got an error "<Exception> Input shape is null". Why is it so?
I have already got this error when I had tried on other ways...

Your body has lost Tip somehow. Open PartDesign WB, right-click the last feature in tree ("Limiters") and click "Set tip" in context menu. Your body should slice apart nicely after that (at least on my machine, it does).

You are right. It is a horrible abrakadabra :)
I moved and deleted some features... maybe it is a reason a bad bahaviour...

Ok.
I deleted some feateres and actively used a Space key in tree navigate.

And further. Should I set the "Display Mode Body" property to "Tip" before using Part WB?
