Extrude a dome from oblong square face?

Hello all,

the question is easy.

How do I extrude a dome with desired radius (and NOT semi-sphere) from borders of an oblong square face/body?

I could not find a usefull answer so far. Either an answer was semi-sphered, or useless due a poorly documented (or not documented at all) workbench.

SolidWoks has "dome" command for that purpose, what would FreeCAD's counterpart be?

I created new macro, copy-pasted code, saved it, and run it in empty freecad document. Nothing happened.

Do you really think that these simple rules has been set to piss forumers off? Knowing your version allows us to know which features are available for you (FC improves very fast). Having your file in its current state allows us to perfectly understand what you're trying to achieve (or maybe you think that an "oblong square" is something easy to figure out). Also we know which workbench/workflow you're using (FC is multiple and versatile). Having a hand made sketch or a picture of the final shape is appreciated.
Help on this forum is brought by a community of enthusiast volunteers. Showing some respect for their precious time should not be an option.

I created new macro, copy-pasted code, saved it, and run it in empty freecad document. Nothing happened.

There are two GeodesicDome macros in the addon manager. I tried the first (with a blank in its name) and as described by mancroft nothing happened.
Then I deinstalled and installed the one without blank and the macro starts. I didn't test it any further.

This discussion seems to have gone somehow out of whack; it was for a newbie an unlucky response to ask openBrain to change the post himself (which he cannot anyway).
Marjan, try to see it with our eyes. The forum regulars are here because they like FreeCAD and they like to help. They think that both are very important and good things. We are not payed and thus dare to request from users asking questions to prepare them as good as possible. It may take you more time in the first go, but the helpers will have to invest less, and that should it be worth. As return of such investment you get usually very fast and competent answers.

The question seems to be how to create a parametric bulge from a rectangular face, which says nothing of the blend function at the corners of the profile, but I think a Gordon Gregory surface could create something with near-semicircular arc sections orthogonally across the crown.
