I can't find an update for Debian10
Best scenario for Debian is to use the v0.19 AppImage

I and welcome @laca :)
On Debian 10 you can only get FreeCAD 0.18-pr1 from repository (apt install freecad)
As far as I know if you want FreeCAD 0.19 on Debian you can also compile it yourself. Don't be afraid about that (maybe you are not), just follow Compile_on_Linux instructions step by step.
Good luck, ask here if you have questions.

Edit: Xpost with @Kunda1, I never remember to use Appimage, that's because I'm on ARM system (RPI4), Appimage is indeed the best way to get FC0.19 on X86-64 system.

JOKO Engineering to the rescue !
Just noticed a youtube video posted up dealing with this issue for people that want to do a manual download and install of addons.
That being said, once I installed 0.19 the problem went away for me....

That is actually what the first sentence of the first answer instructs you to do:

To Roy043 and chrisb who advise upgrading to FC 0.19 to get workbench addons:

Firstly, I am using
OS: Windows 10 (10.0)
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.19.22209 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: master
Hash: 9c3f9b72a82249d5fcf1f543dd69a78740251b26
Python version: 3.6.8
Qt version: 5.12.1
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.3.0
Locale: English/New Zealand (en_NZ)

If I click Tools --> Addon Manager I am greeted with
201205 AddonManager for FC.png
201205 AddonManager for FC.png (37.13 KiB) Viewed 12575 times
Obviously, Version: 0.19.22209 (Git) does not link to the list of addons. This leaves me with the problem of trying to get them.

Secondly, try as I might (more than three hours over the past couple of days) I cannot find a downloadable binary build of FC any more recent than my current version (FreeCAD_0.19.22209_x64_LP_12.1.6_PY3QT5-WinVS2015.7z).

You must understand that I am in to Mechanical Engineering. I am a user of software, not a developer of software. I do not speak Git so I get totally lost at GitHub and I have absolutely no idea what to do with source code. I need one of our Forum Gurus to take pity on me and other poor benighted souls like myself.

Would one of you please pin a thread in the forum with a simple (working) link to the latest FC Binaries (a set which will link to the list of addons). I am sure that a population of FC Users the size of a small country will bless your name. :)

I know I will. :D

Thanks

At the bottom of the page there is text "Assets". Clicking it will expand and show all recent dev builds. At time of this post latest is 23141.

Since I am using Windows 10, is the correct download FreeCAD_0.19.23141-Win-Conda_vc14.x-x86_64.7z? It's the only one that hints of Windows.

Do I need FreeCADLibs_12.1.6_x64_VC15.7z as well? If so, what do I do with it?

Is there a particular folder into which I unzip these files?

Thanks

Win-Conda and LP are both Windows builds as explained in that page ABOVE the Assets part. You already use LP build as you mentioned in your previous post. FreeCADLibs are needed only if you want to build FreeCAD yourself as explained in that text :-)

Yes. Sorry about that. They are both Wins.

Hmmm. ... Where did I say that? Then again, as far as a software user like me is concerned, what's the difference?
