navigation without middle button

Hi,

I sometime use FreeCAD (a great piece of software by the way) on a laptop where the touchpad doesn't have any middle button. Is there any alternative (possibly keyboard shortcuts) to navigate in the 3D view?

Yes, but there you have to switch to Inventor navigation:

* Rotating: Left mouse
* Panning: SHIFT + Left mouse (or Middle mouse)
* Zooming: CTRL +/-
* Selection: CTRL + Left mouse
