Attaching links to Google Drive with my model. I'm not sure which file is necessary so attaching links to folder and file. I tried to make these accessible to anyone with the link, but somehow Google gives me fits sharing files with people. I'm open to recommendations on a better place to post. (Like hopefully directly to this board :) )

Since my original post, I was able to get the model to 0 degrees of freedom and all green and now I'm working on the hole at the top.

It is very easy to add the file directly. Just use the "Attachments" tab below the "Post Reply" edit window.

I'm at the step where you draw the X with the blue construction lines to add the circle, but I think this question applies to many things in FreeCad and even this tutorial.

My image is at https://ibb.co/xGq553G

After drawing the X lines and adding the constraint, FC still says I have non-zero degrees of freedom. To remedy this, I deleted the started the this sketch over, but want to make sure the construction lines in blue start at the edge of the diagram. I believe I'd like to tell FC to start the line at the vertex of the top left corner of the sketch. If the underlaying sketch were changed, I'd like it to always be in that top left corner. In short, anchor it to a vertex and not an specific XYZ coordinate position. Also, if the end point were similarly marked, it should imply a length constraint.

For that matter, how can I pull up a dialog that shows the start/end/length of the line itself? Something like a right-click->show properties type of dialog.

It is very easy to add the images directly as well. Just follow the same advice as above.

It is not fair or productive to ask the helpers to track down your files. Make it as easy as possible and you will get a better response.
