Possible bug(ette) in Pick Screen Color

I've noticed what appears to be some odd behaviour in the Select Color dialog.
When using the Pick Screen Color, the selection pointer is restricted to sampling inside the dialog box.

This contrasts with the Spreadsheet color picker where the eyedropper tool can sample anywhere on the screen.

Confirmed. If nobody else responds, you may create a ticket for this.

There seems to be a workaround: Place the color picking window over the color you want to pick. Then move the mouse pointer at a side or at the bottom out of the window over the desired color. In the moment you leave the color picker it selects the color outside of the window.
This doesn't work when I move the mouse pointer too fast.
