Creating timber floor joists from a sketch wire 2D diagram

Can you explain further what you mean by "And for heavens sake don't go modelling the lot use the symmetry that's there."?

There are three lots of joists in 30 degree intervals model one of them, then array the other two. Add the odd extra one at the end.

Note the joints aren't correct, it's to do with centre lines. I leave you to fix. I've used some Expressions, and Sketcher_CarbonCopy for sketches.

It never would have occurred to me to use a pad and pockets. Very clever.

There always seems to be more than way to achieve ones goal in FreeCad.
