I am slightly confused with something. Say I create a new sketch and draw what I want around the origin.
I can easily create symmetry and other things because it's centered around point 0 and I can relate it with the axis etc. So far so good.
Then I want to map it to a very specific point on the face of the body.
You can see the attached photo.
I suspect that moving the sketch placement in order to map it is not the right approach.
I saw some using datum planes but I also saw others recommend against it.
So what is the ideal way to create the sketch around point 0 / origin, relate it with the axis etc and then map it exactly on a specific area on a face of the body?
