[Solved] Incorrect Dimensions?

Post by KCStylus »

So I am completely new to the program FreeCAD and to the entire CAD platform.

I currently am using ver. 19.2.

I am having issues with what might be the dimensions of both my sketches and objects. I set my preferences to use [inches and lbs ], so when I create a rectangle and make the dimensions of it 13in x 8in, I should be seeing something on the screen that resembles that size similar or accurate to a real life example. However, after I specify my measurements in the properties of the rectangle, the image I see looks like it doubled on only one axis and makes the object in question look off.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I didn't do something vital in the settings to make this error.

If anyone who knows CAD might have an idea please respond down below.

Thank you for your time.

Works perfectly fine on my system.

Maybe you need to right click your object on the object tree and then ask for a recompute.
