What was resolved was the "ability" to change the behavior. There was no change to the default.

You obviously did not fully read the reference. It tells you how to add a parameter that is not already shown.

Go into that section of the parameter editor, right click, and select "Add Boolean". (Might be slightly different wording, I am not looking at this instant.)

One bonus that does not seem to be mentioned is that if one selects the spin box the scroll still works to change the numbers. If the spin box is not selected then the scroll does not change the numbers. Best of both worlds. 8-)

Sorry, yes, I perused too quickly and skipped that vital instruction. That is what Chris was referring to; I see now.
