Is it possible to use a sketch from Sketcher directly in TechDraw ?
I have a plan, certain distances are constrained (i.e easy to display is I want to make a screen capture or something), but I need to annotate other distances (solved distances and angles). This is for print for a quick project, a screenshot of sketcher would do it, but you can't add additional constraints (for display/ print only) as it would overconstrain the sketch.
So is it possible to send the Sketch directly to TechDraw for annotations ? I guess I could pad it and use the resulting 3d object, but in general, the sketch is not necessarily valid for padding in PD.

Yes. You select the sketch for your TechDraw.
It's a technic to draw some lines who don't belong to the object.

So, it was not working earlier for some reason, but I can't replicate.Shalmeneser wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 5:25 pm Yes. You select the sketch for your TechDraw.

Now it's working as expected.

Re: Sketcher to TechDraw
You can use reference constraints too if you'd like to add something to a sketch without over constraining it.
