macOS Big Sur


adding a fillet to selected face

consumes the bottom

no I'm kidding :lol: (but it's pretty nice, isn't it?)

edit : the cylinder seal must not be aligned with the spout ;)

To add to Forthman: If you take the same Body that failed and fillet it in Part workbench, it fails as well. Fillets tend to break when four edges meeting in a point are involved.

If the fillet is not on the seam of the cylinder...
Or you can draw the fillet in the sketch.

yes but there you made a teapot for right-handed people only, left-handed people will get their pants wet, choking, :lol: :lol:
but it is the right solution to avoid the shape in 4 edges which blocks the good process

I assumed incorrectly that because the spout is a different body that the filet applied to just the spout edge will result in the desired surface detail.
