Bug: Fillet breaking surface
FreeCAD 0.12
macOS Big Sur
adding a fillet to selected face consumes the bottom two edges is also quite funny File is attached
Same issue happens also with a solid loft spout

Re: Bug: Fillet breaking surface
I think you just discovered a new bug!
no I'm kidding (but it's pretty nice, isn't it?)
edit : the cylinder seal must not be aligned with the spout

Re: Bug: Fillet breaking surface
To add to Forthman: If you take the same Body that failed and fillet it in Part workbench, it fails as well. Fillets tend to break when four edges meeting in a point are involved.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

If the fillet is not on the seam of the cylinder...
Or you can draw the fillet in the sketch.

Re: Bug: Fillet breaking surface
yes but there you made a teapot for right-handed people only, left-handed people will get their pants wet, choking,
but it is the right solution to avoid the shape in 4 edges which blocks the good process

Re: Bug: Fillet breaking surface
I assumed incorrectly that because the spout is a different body that the filet applied to just the spout edge will result in the desired surface detail.
