cannot do boolean operation on two bodies

Hi,

I created a box but it was too big, so my Idea was to get rid of a couple of mm in the middle of the box.

For that I created a top part and a bottom part of my box. Then I cut a couple of mm from each copy and moved the top part via transformation on top of the bottom part.

Afterwards I wanted to do a boolean operation to combine both parts again to one box into the Body "finalCombinedBox"

But whenever I use the operation the result is an empty screen.

I'm not seeing how you made the original box. Did you delete something before attaching?

I suggest that you go and do some tutorials, your file is a complete mess and does not make any sense whatsoever.

Why do you have so many bodies? how can one have a body that contains nothing but a pocket?

A box without a lid should contain only one body, assuming it is not made from separate parts like a wooden crate for example.

Try to examine the included file.
