[SOLVED]Rotating a part in DRAFT and getting it to stay rotated, HOW?

I have no trouble whatever rotating a box on a center point and making the bottom into the top. However once I click okay it snaps right back the other way. So how do I get it to STAY rotated?

Nevermind, found this video. I completely abandoned the other approach as the steps taken in this vid do what I wanted done, and in a more efficient manner:

Nevermind...

assuming that you figured out how (btw - sounds like you forgot to make the last click in the 3d view),
could you please edit the title and add "[solved]" at beginning of title?

And it would be good if you explain how you solved it. That could be much faster for others than to watch a 16 min video.
