Hi,
I would like to model this clevis in FreeCAD (the image is from Inventor):
However, I have some problems with fillets since those are tricky in FreeCAD. Here's how the model looks like at this point:
I was trying to apply those full fillets in the middle (between the clevis and the rod) but with no success. When I select the edges shared by those 2 parts of the model, the whole model disappears ...
I've also attached the FreeCAD file with this model.

Re: Clevis model - complex fillets
Thank you. In your model it seems to work even with Refine=false. But it seems that it's necessary to create the smaller fillets first and then proceed to the one between clevis and rod. What's more, in my model there are some redundant edges on the back face of the clevis. Probably because of the different approach to modeling. I've also noticed that you modeled the rounded ends of the clevis using pocket instead of doing the full fillet trick I used (as described here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 41#p515441).
Thanks, it's an interesting approach. However, this transition between clevis and rod has to be concave while with loft it's flat.

Good evening to the Community!
..... this modeling example (consisting of multiple fillets) with step-by-step explanation, could be useful: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=56605

this is the reason for using Refine = truein my model there are some redundant edges on the back face of the clevis
pocket is more robust thant double filletI've also noticed that you modeled the rounded ends of the clevis using pocket instead of doing the full fillet
