Raytracing - how to change path to ProjectStd.pov?

Post by dculp001 »

Hello --

My current (default) path to ProjectStd.pov is D:\Program files\FreeCAD\data\Mod\Raytracing\Templates.
After I edit ProjectStd.pov I want to save it to a backup folder (E:\FreeCAD\Templates). I want this new ProjectStd.pov to be the new default for Raytracing. Then any changes that I make to ProjectStd.pov can easily be backed up with my backup software.

I searched for the string "ProjectStd" for all files in D:\Program files\FreeCAD but only found it in --
RaytracingGui.pyd
ProjectStd.pov
ProjectStd_XZplane.pov

(In \Edit\Preferences\Raytracing there is a "Default Project dir" but this seems to be where the current pov project is stored, not the directory of ProjectStd.pov.)

Thanks,
Don C.
