Re: Urgent Help Needed : all my work has disappeared !
Can you try to use FreeCAD from "normal" installation, not AppImage? It might be AppImage access problem (just guessing). And please upload the file to some place not requiring logging in or change access rights for the file you uploaded to gmail. Let me know if you have problem with that - I can help.
Re: Urgent Help Needed : all my work has disappeared !
If you make the Google Drive file public someone may be able to help.

at home the file only opens at 90%, after downloading
Re: Urgent Help Needed : all my work has disappeared !
I saw the same 90%. An image shows up, but so do several fatal error messages.
This is clearly not from the FreeCAD Master branch, so there is little more I can say. I recommend you take the discussion to the RT github pages. I believe that is where the bug reports are best addressed.

I used an experimental macro called file_trimmer on it. The macro seeks to reduce size of files by deleting .brp files from the archive. You will need to refresh (F5) upon loading. I was not able to completely recompute the file. It shows some errors with the origins, missing x_axis. Perhaps these can be rebuilt by creating new part objects and dragging contents into them. Failing that, perhaps your sketches can be re-used.

Yes it is from Link stage branch. but I think that most users of freecad had used the other branches. and thy should manipulated similarly.GeneFC wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 7:17 pm I saw the same 90%. An image shows up, but so do several fatal error messages.

thanks for you advice. I deal with them in reporting issues but for this file, i do not know how to report the problem since it is not clear where is exactly the bug.
thanks again.

thanks to @TheMarkster, I openend the file but looks so hard to recover. just the tree. I think that it will take more time to fix it than creating the model again.TheMarkster wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 10:23 pm I used an experimental macro called file_trimmer on it.
