What options exist for reorganizing objects in the tree ?

I imported some large step models and the first thing I did was to set globally random colors to the file, this at least gave me some idea of where the object dividing lines were located.

For sure you need "Sync selection" enabled. This will hightlight tree parts for 3D selections.

I never knew about the sync selection enable/disable - this is damned handy ! Thanks very much.
