empty navigator cube
Hello guys,
I´m a new user.
Version 1.8, Win7 64bit, (I should probably install 1.9?)
My navigation cube is empty. There only is a white square.
What to do?
Thanks and best regards -
Michael

Re: empty navigator cube
And if it doesn't work in 0.19, you should try the latest 0.20.

Re: empty navigator cube
0.19.2 does not run at all. error ...
0.18.4 stills runs like before.

Re: empty navigator cube
You can try to reset the configuration with the button in the preferences. Another possibility is to delete your config files or to move them in case you want to restore them.
Beyond that, nothing will be done with 0.18 from the developers side. For 0.19 you may check the Known OS specific issues. From your very sparse message it is hard to help.

Workaround: Rollback to an earlier driver graphic card driver version.*

Re: empty navigator cube
I have the radeon hd 4550. I had this issue with some of the 0.18 versions, but 0.19 and afterwards all worked fine. I think it had to do with the version of Qt used in 0.18, or perhaps it was coin version. The 0.18 version made with python2 worked fine also.
Re: empty navigator cube
... after deleting the certain files 0.19 is running now. No software crash.
Still no navigator cube, only white square.
I forgot to mention that the different object views did not work immediately or that I had to click outside the screen first. Now this works too!
Do you really need the cube?
I am a 1/2 DAU in computers but imho my graphics card is overwhelmed?
Could deinstalling Version 0.18 help too?

I'm really scared that something happens that I can't get back on if I change the driver version of the graphics card.
