Any additional info? Step height, offsets from start to the end, column location and shape? Should it include reinforcements, drawings, ...?Do you just want the job done or also want to learn some FreeCAD along the way?

Did you draw all stages individually, or is there an automatism after the 1st stage in the sketcher?

If you want regular repititions, then it is done with a pattern (PartDesign) or a Draft array (Part).

thanks for the information. does something like that make sense for the sketcher, so that the constraints are set right away?

There are several threads discussing this (recurring) topic. The pros here rather recommend to stick to simple sketches and add complexity outside of sketcher.
E.g. in Pro/E was the 7-7-7 rule promoted:
- a sketch should have no more than 7 elements
- or no more than 7 measures
- or take no longer than 7 minutes to be completed (fully constrained)

I would second this: The sketches are the most important things to think about, so keep them as simple as possible.

that sounds sensible, but can you make an extrude with several sketches?

No, but you can fuse the extrudes made from several sketches.

that's how I do it too. if you use the advantages of the sketcher, e.g. kinematics, from draft e.g. array, 3d sketches and from part e.g. multiple bodies, then you have a very powerful cad system
