Aerofoil Work Bench - melwynfranciscarlo

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I am familiar with CAD (AutoCAD) but have only used FreeCAD for about 6 months, I usually sort out things myself though I have stalled at repairing folds on meshs.

It seems that at sharp reflex angles (in my case at the trailing edge of an aerofoil) folds are generated wrapping around it and using the repair tool removes the folds but does not generate new surface triangles to fill the removed surface elements.

I have tried all the mesh generation tools and they all appear to do the same (create folds at the sharp angle.)
I have tried to export the mesh and import the STL file as a drawing to work on it but I cannot work on it using the line drawing in Sketcher or the repair function in the Mesh workbench. I'm obviously doing something silly though I do not know what it is.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?
