Thank you for your help guys...
It seems that I'm stuck there :? I can't go in metal production like this, too risky :|

Can you upload the SVG?

What input does the CNC guy need? It's probably not an STL anyway.

I think this is entirely a matter of tightening up the tolerances. The original object has excessively large deviation settings. When I used the standard mesher with tighter deviations I got the following. I do not see anything wrong, and the standard image looks fine as well. If this is still not good enough (?) then just tighten more.

I do not use Blender, so I cannot compare the stl export.

I do not know how the "CNC guy" will handle the sharp inside corners.

Frankly, this entire project needs a bit more thought about what is to be accomplished and what is needed to do so. The original image looks pretty rough, for example. And it is certainly not reproducible with typical CNC.

Maybe you give this one a try?
And, as chris mentioned, can you supply the svg and also ask your workshop about using a step-file

You should consider to slightly rework the SVG. I changed an almost straight Bezier into a straight line and changed this cumbersome symmetric right corner ...

In the mesh viewed in Wireframe mode I couldn't see any defects.

I created the mesh directly in Blender. Maybe the most simple option.

Interesting result, they seem to handle problematic SVGs much better. But as the mesh is not suitable for a CNC shop, it can only be used to serve to some extent as a quality control. That's not possible if the mesh is created in a third party program.

I still don't get the point of MrCedric. The step is mathematically exact (more or less). The preview of this "Hubs" page is just bad. If I preview the same step at sharecad it is much better.

It is only a question how good or bad is the tesselation of the preview tool.
So no need to hassle with stl or obj or every mesh format :?

Regards

Edit: forgot to mention that with blender one has more control how fine or coarse the approximation of the curve/path will be.
